The designer was inspired by the African proverb and sought out to capture her interpretation of imibalabala yezi zimbali _’ The colours of Flowers”. Through the use of Armani satin, the designer shows the frailly and twirl of flowers as they shed in Autumn while using satin printed fabric to illustrate the vastness of the flowers that coexist.

The proverbs speaks about the vast colours mimicking the vast experiences in life; some are colds and harsh [Black, Blue]. These are made to teach us lessons, while and some are warm [pink, yellow, purple] a remembrance of the joys and happiness often shared.
